Patrol

Community Outreach

K-9

Special Tactics and Response

Robbery and Homicide Investigation

Financial Crimes Investigation

Bomb Squad

Dive Team

Narcotic Investigations

Police Academy

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

21 Years Old by April 2nd, 2024

US Citizen

Valid Drivers License

No Felony Convictions

No Domestic Abuse Convictions

No Marijuana (Past 12 Mo)

No Other Drugs (Past 24 Mo)

Vison- No Worse than 20/100 and correctable to 20/20

Normal Color Vison

Normal Hearing

Full salary on day one ($73,050) ($82,056 for Certified Officers*)

24 Week Basic Academy/ 14 Week Certified Academy

Academy is Monday-Friday (Weekends & Holidays off)

Sleep at home every night (No barracks)

Field Training – 12 Weeks with experienced officer

Mentorship Program- Paired with experienced officer to assist and help guide you through the academy, field training and beyond.
